I did about 4 days of my first campaign from commission blueprint and have to share now. The results aren’t great, but I’m not upset with them either.

Here goes:

Cost for Clicks: $305.73

Profit from Sales: $94.81

Total Loss: $210.92

I did learn a lot though. For one, my landing page was not optimized to all of my keywords. I need to make more themed pages I think. I also messed up on the tracking. I thought all of the click thrus I got were from the Search campaign but many were from the content campaign. If I had noticed that sooner I wouldn’t have wasted so much money. For most of the campaign I was making back half of what I put into it.

I also learned about using a heat map to see where my visitors were clicking on my pages. I had forgotten about this method before, and was told about many options that cost money to have a heat map. With the commission blueprint system because of the tracking google analytics took each keyword to a different page, so the cover didn’t help me figure things out.

That being said I searched google for a heat map. I found one called Clickheat which is a free script you put on your own hosting. It works real easy. All you do is put a code on each page you want tracked and it shows you where people are clicking.

With that all being said I am on the second campaign, it is launched and I am already working on the third campaign. I know this will work. Commission Blueprint is great and the forum is all a buzz of people who are making it work. I just know I’m next.

I posted the other day talking about a different product I’m following. It is called Commission Blueprint. I’m sure you have heard of it, it’s a great product. Here is my official review:

The product comes with release notes and a ton of videos. I’m not a video person but… I have heard so much good stuff about this that I had to give it a shot. I haven’t wanted to focus on CPA stuff for awhile now, in my opinion a lot of it is scammy and it kinda makes me feel bad. What isn’t spammy is so oversaturated, it scares me from going that way.

The first couple of videos are all about the product and the blueprint and how it all works. It’s pretty straight forward and easy to follow. The first 2 videos don’t give too much away, but are important to watch to have an idea of what is going on.

The third video jumps right in. They start discussing the formula used to choose products and figure out what products could work with this blueprint. I loved the 3rd and 4th videos. The formula is a great guide to whether you can make any affiliate or CPA product work. It is easily adaptable to CPA campaigns and it gives you a clear thought on whether you can make a campaign work, if everything goes well.

The 4th set of videos is about keyword research and their favorite tool to use. It is completely free (the main tool) they do recommend other tools you can use, but I didn’t feel the need to get those at all. You can make it work without them and without too much extra work for yourself.

All together there are 18 videos and they are EXCELLENT.

I really think when we buy most products something huge is missing. Either there is no support, all of the steps aren’t there, or the meat of the course is just a quick layout of what we should do. With Commission Blueprint I don’t feel that way at all.

The videos are long, and there are so many that it can feel like it is taking FOREVER. But the information is GREAT. Even as a non-newb I got so many good tips out of this that I can’t even begin to tell you. There is always so much more we just don’t know. On top of that I feel like Tim really takes your hand and helps you through the whole process. If you have any questions at all there is a really active forum.

The process of doing this isn’t too difficult, but it might be time consuming at first. I like that because it means that not everyone will follow through, giving me more room for success.

When I first got started I was worried because the product went live last year and I wasn’t sure if things were oversaturated because of that. But I found a post about someone who the day before had hit $90 a day after watching some of the videos again. That right there told me there is room to make money with this process.

RESULTS:
I launched my first campaign the other day and the results are not good. So far out of 143 clicks I have spent $83 and have not made a dime. I am however working on the next campaign because I know this can work and when it does it will be so sweet.

In the mean time, I am going to focus, and I hope that you can find a product to focus with too, until you find your success.

UPDATE:

I have now spent $105 and made $68. It is looking better and this is my first campaign with CB!

I haven’t written in about a week, but that is because I have been very busy with PPC. There are also some updates to the site I wanted to share.

I realized today that I got a comment from PPC Coach on a post I did awhile back. Here is what he has to say about his course. I like what he had to say about how it is a community for after you get the latest product. I know he isn’t so much for the next big thing but wants to help people achieve.

With that all out of the way, what have I been up to? I recently started following another Excellent PPC product that I am very excited about. I tend to move around a lot between Internet Marketing models and such and never seem to get anywhere, so I am completely dedicated to doing this. I am now at video 12 of 18 of this product and I love it.

I will share the name very soon, but I want to have some good stats to show when I tell you so, stay tuned.

If you’ve read my blog for awhile you know that I follow a lot of great ppc and super affiliate blogs.

But I found a really great post today on Scrappy Business by Josh Wexelbaum (sorry I couldnt find the spelling). This is a good post and a great site to follow, it isn’t as popular as other sites, from what I can tell, but it should be.
