Hi there! Thanks for visiting!
Regarding tags on blog posts, I have recently read an <a href="http://www.seomoz.org/blog/making-the-most-of-meta-description-tags">SEOMoz blog post</a> that says 2 or 3 keyword tags are all that is needed from an SEO perspective. You don't want to over-do it and add in 15 tags!
In this article, they also discuss the importance of META tags and a realistic description to help readers find the content they are searching for. I found it really helpful.

Nice post ppcmom, and thanks for sharing. One mistake i do all the time is adding tags on each post i make. So will this really affect my blog ranking so much?
