EWA Network Review

By PPC Mom

“Affiliate networks are NOT created equal.”

I made that statement on Twitter a few weeks ago. Experienced affiliates will know what I am talking about. There are tons of affiliate networks out there trying their hardest to get affiliates to run traffic with them. When you start doing big numbers, you get more and more attention.

It is very important to know which networks you can trust and which you cannot. I write this post from the heart. This is NOT a paid review. I want you to know that I have worked with many affiliate networks and have had troubles with most of them.

When I say “trouble”, I mean the common troubles that most affiliates have with networks. Such as: they didn’t pay me on time, (two well known networks still haven’t paid me months later), some don’t answer my emails, others promise things and never deliver, some are all hype and no substance, etc. I’ve even had one very prominent network stalk me via one of my affiliate sites! Eek! They’re not ALL bad, of course. But it can be tough to know which are good and which are not.

In this post I am going to share my own personal experiences with the one network that has helped me the most this year – EWA.

EWA Network Review by PPCMom

EWA Network is run by Ryan Eagle and Harrison Gervitz. Both of these guys are successful affiliates themselves. They understand the offers, the market, and the business better than anyone I know.

It’s one thing to understand the market or to be a successful affiliate. But it’s an entirely different thing to be able to explain it to others. And that is exactly what sets EWA apart from the rest.

“What offers should I run?”

The weekly “epic” training emails are amazing! Each week we receive detailed instructions, guidelines, and recommendations on what offers to promote, where to promote them, and specifically HOW to promote them to be successful. They have covered Dating, Facebook, Plenty of Fish, Games/Downloads, Grants & Biz Opps, and so much more! Seriously, these guides are awesome!

“When do I get paid?”

Another big drama in affiliate marketing is “payment terms”. Most networks will pay you Net 60, Net 30, or Net 15 unless you are doing high volumes. How is a new affiliate meant to turn out high volumes when they have to pay Facebook every single day? Then you wait 45 days to get paid from the network?? It just doesn’t work.

EWA supports you with weekly payouts regardless of volume. Imagine what that can do to your bottom line. It’s powerful.

As an affiliate, what do you want?

  • You want to get paid on time.
  • You want advice and support.
  • You want competitive payouts on the best converting offers.

EWA have all three areas covered completely.

1) I have been paid on time, every time.
2) The “epic” training guides are priceless!
3) I’ve always gotten the highest payouts from EWA.

I want to thank Ryan, Harrison, Tom & the team at EWA Network for what they’ve done for me personally and professionally.

They have been instrumental in my success and the success of so many others. Thank you, for believing in me back in the day, for opening up opportunities for new affiliates, and for being real, being helpful, and supportive of my business throughout 2009.

P.S. Have you had any EWA Network experiences you can share?

Can somebody tell me more for where I should find out about ethics before I start my affiliate marketing plays, because I didn't understand the ones from the EagleAssets site yet.

  • anonymous

another payment; ahead of time. $50 threshold only! mad respect.

Hi, Jen. I saw your post on WF which send me here. ewa is definitely a great network, and they cherry pick their affiliates. They doesn't have the highest payout on every offer as they claimed, but the weekly payment really stands out. I tried to apply for them, but unfortunately got rejected because I haven't found anyone to refer me. Kinda frustrated.

  • Ethics what ethics

"weekly “epic” training emails" "Grants & Biz Opps"

So they are training emails on how to scam people - because almost all the "Grants & Biz Opps" are scams, as are the teeth whitening, acai etc etc.

Hi there, thanks for your comment. Regarding ethics, as affiliates we can choose what offers to promote. I am comfortable with the choices on offer at EWA. Most CPA affiliate networks have similar offers. In my opinion it is unfair to single out one network over another.
I think you bring up a good point, and that is that as affiliates we have a choice in the offers we promote. I prefer to promote offers that I would be comfortable selling to my family and friends. But that's just me. All affiliates are free to choose, and I won't pass judgement on the affiliates, the networks, or on the advertisers who develop the offers.
Once again, thanks for your comment, and thanks for stopping by.

I think EWA Network SUCKS! I make my living on the intenet and own over 70 websites. I'm a successful affiliate for several CPA Networks. One of my sites is number 1 in google competing against 44 million other sites. I applied to be an affiliate with EWA Network on 2 occasions and they denied my application both times with NO REASON given. There's WAY bigger and better networks than EWA

I'm sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with EWA. Personally, I feel it's harsh to say they suck when you haven't worked with them. But you are entitled to your opinion. I don't want to get into bashing networks here on my blog. There are good and bad networks out there. Each of us has our preference. Thanks for understanding.

  • Jeff

If you were a "successful" affiliate, I don't think you'd be wasting your time coming here and bashing EWA. People that are doing well don't have time to do that kind of crap. You sound like a mad affiliate running clickbank.

I am new into this business and have just set up my website. Can I work for EWA Newtork. How do I get approved by them? Is that very difficult?

  • Mirza

Honestly ,i have started my marketing successfully just because of the epic training guides and the top notch service by the team , specially Victor! ALL Thanks to EWA.

  • Sid

Ryan eagle always keeps it real.

  • I really like EWA. Ryan continues to help me and offer advise despite me being bad at CPA. Because of that, when I finally start doing well, I will only run EWA. Harrison is awesome as well and is always a cool guy to talk to. Get money -

  • We haven't been working with EWA long but their network setup, tips, and responsiveness is the best I've seen from any network.

  • Thank you for your kind words! I really appreciate it - thanks for doing business with EWA and it means a lot to us that you posted such kind words

  • I want to join EWA Network, but I need referral. Can somebody please help. I have 3 years hands on experience with internet marketing, mostly search marketing. Please contact me at: dejan.corovic (at) btinternet.com
