I’m Getting There

By PPC Mom

I have been learning about ppc and several different strategies to make money with ppc for almost a year now. I learned way too much before I really decided to jump in and just start learning from my own experience. I have seen inside so many ppc courses I should probably put together some reviews, because I know what each one teaches and who is the most helpful.

With all of that I have started doing my own launching, which is a combination of different methods I have learned and so far it is going rather well. The first campaign, on the first day, I spent $3 in ads and made $36.50 That was pretty exciting. Now I just have to scale it up. By the end of that day, I was at $8 in ads and $54 in sales. Awesome ROI.

What I have learned that so far seems the most important is choosing the keywords. While my bank is still growing, as I am adding to it, I don’t take a lot of chances, so I pay extra attention to what keywords I use. I am currently not throwing a ton of keywords into a campaign and seeing what sticks.

I know some people like to have small campaigns with what can be called buy keywords, and then there are others that have huge campaigns because you never know for sure what is going to work, and I agree with both. But I think for starters without a TON of cash have to be careful and pay attention to the keywords they use.

On the other hand, when you do strike gold with a campaign you must scale, right? For instance the campaign I talk about above had 80 keywords, carefully chosen.

Anyway, my point in this post is the more campaigns I am putting together, the more ads I tweak and the more keyword research I do, the closer I feel I am getting to success. It isn’t the courses, the one on one, the webinars, or any of that, (while a lot did help) it is the hands on training that you remember most, and I think that is the most important part. On the job training!

    thanks for tips..very helpful

Are you still in ppc-coach Mary?

Do you recommend ppc classroom or ppc-coach first?
  • Mary
Depending on what you want to do I would say ppc coach is my #1 and ppc classroom is #1.1 I like ppc coach for CPA offers and ppc classroom for Cost per sale offers, but either way, they are both awesome, just coach is more versatile.
  • What kind of product/service are you selling that made $54 for $8? That is an impressive turn around.
  • Mary
Well that would be silly for me to reveal, don't you think? But yeah it is a great turn around. I am now understanding what I am learning at ppc classroom and ppc coach. The profitable campaigns are usually profitable right from the beginning.
  • PPC is not as easy as i think..It's quite hard to master it.
  • Mary
It is true, it can be difficult. But it can be done. A lot of it depends on the methods of keyword research you use and the strategies you are using to make money with ppc. What have you tried, what could you use help with, what do you feel you need to learn. I think the important part is to jump in, with a low daily budget that you can afford and ask all the questions you need to along the way, wherever you can. On top of that, keep your head up, success will come, just keep trying.

    Hey,

So how do you choose the right keywords? what's your strategy? I didn't realize there was such a precision that saves you the whole trial and error for keyword thing.
