Looking for a Little Action?
Monday, October 27, 2008 22:09I guess it has been awhile since I have posted. Sorry to any and every one who reads this. The reason for my post is I am been rather inactive lately. So… let me tell you what is going on.
I joined PPC Classroom, and to tell you the truth I love it, really I do. I think there is a lot in there that is really useful information and I have even made a campaign out of the information I have learned there. The campaign went really well and I ended with an average 3% CTR. I figured that was pretty good. I didn’t however get any conversions at all.
Im not exactly sure why, but it could be that the sales page ( i was direct linking) wasnt great, or it could be I was targetting the wrong words, I only spent $70 and I got 200 or so clicks. I thought that was good enough to know it wasn’t going anywhere.
So, what am I doing NOW?
Well, the product I had chosen was one on Clickbank, so I have gone and gotten Commission Blueprint and I am going to incorporate that with my PPC Classroom learning and my PPC Coach tracking and of course Awesome forum.
The forum, by the way, is the reason I am not Extremely happy with PPC Classroom. The forum doesn’t open for another month. What the heck is that all about? And I still havent received my refund for the $297 upsell I accidentally bought. Long story…
I still think the product and the bonuses are great and if anyone wants to chat about PPC Classroom, please let me know, by leaving a comment and we can talk all about what we are learning.

Hey, PPC Mom. I would love to share notes about the PPC Classroom. In fact, I created a PPC Student Blog for exactly that purpose. Feel free to come over and take a look at what I’ve got and leave your comments as well.
I’ve already signed up for the Live Classroom, reserved my hotel room, and booked my flight. Will I be able to meet you in person in December? I’m looking forward to meeting all the other students then.

Hey there! A 3% click-through rate sounds pretty decent. Maybe you should try making a landing page instead of direct linking. Did you check the advertisers page for “leaks”? I.E. Things that make it easy for your customer to become their customer - 800 numbers, an easily seen affiliate sign-up form, etc.
Anywho, I’m kinda bummed myself that I missed the boat on PPC Classroom, but I’m sure it will all work out in the end. Meanwhile I’ll listen to you tell me how great it is. =)
p.s. When’s that keyword research video coming out?

Dennis, hi, sorry about the video. I hope to get it done tonight. Thanks for commenting. As far as I know the page I was sending traffic to did not have any of the leaks you talk about, I am considering a langing page, I have actually already started one with the template from Zac Johnson’s blog. Will see what happens and post more here.
